Welcome to the world…

My little man, born on the 7th of July 2011 at 11.35am. Born on his due date – let’s hope he’s always this punctual!

He weighed 8lb 1oz, and was delivered with forceps because he decided to turn back-to-back just before delivery… grr!

But he’s worth all the pain!

Now we’re enjoying the new addition to the family. His big sister is very proud of him, and she’s being very helpful looking after him!

I’m sure you’ll understand if there’s a bit of blogging absence over the next few weeks, I’ll be back with you when I’ve settled into the new regime!

  1. Congratulations! It’s so lovely to have a boy and a girl (people used to comment on my ‘pidgeon pair’ and I had no idea what they meant!). He looks a handsome young man and I look forward to watching him grow via your blog. Big congratulations to big sister too, she’s going to be a LOT of help to you, I can tell!

  2. Oh Jennifer, Huge Congratulations! How wonderful and special for you all! Well done to you – extra “well done” actually – I also had a “back-to-back” baby and the labour was no joke! He is a lovely little chap – that first photo is wonderful and I love the picture of all of you together. I wish you all the happiness in the world and a nice easy start with him now you are home. If you just blog us a “cute kiddies” photo now and then, I’m sure we’ll all forgive any other “absences” lol!
