A Giveaway {NOW CLOSED}! Sponsored by Mary Wangerin

(This post is part of my Onwards and Upwards Blog Event)

Welcome to another giveaway {NOW CLOSED}! This one is sponsored by the awesome Mary Wangerin!

Mary’s artwork is absolutely stunning, so full of colour and happiness, and its very inspirational and empowering!

Here’s a few of my favourite things in her shop right now:

1. ‘You Are Worthy’ Mixed Media Print – This quote is perfect – we are all worthy! Plus this girl has the prettiest flowers in her hair, why I don’t wear flowers in my hair? Looking at this print makes me feel so inspired. I really want it on my craft-space wall:

2. ‘Don’t Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle’ Paper Print – I think we’ve all had a time in our lives when we let someone dull our sparkle. It’s silly that we let things other people say effect the way we feel about ourselves. This print shouts confidence – remember you are wonderful!

3. ‘What You Are Doing Matters’ Paper Print – I like this sentiment. Because sometimes I’m sure I could be doing more that matters – charity work for example. But then I remember that I’m bringing up two children, ironing my husbands shirts, and helping out friends and family when they need it. So what I’m doing may be small, but it still matters! Keeping things like that in mind help me progress to being a more positive person!

Aren’t they all stunning! Plus, I have to tell you I’ve been chatting to Mary a bit, and she’s just the sweetest lady! I love thinking of her up to her elbows in paint creating these works of art! You can see more about Mary on her blog The Turquoise Paintbrush, or on her Facebook, Flickr, Instagram or Twitter accounts!

Now for the Giveaway {NOW CLOSED}… one lucky commenter is going to receive this art print…

Live Bravely:

How perfect is that? It makes me want to shout it from the rooftops – ‘Live bravely, know happiness, celebrate everything’! Yes, okay I will! If looking at this each day didn’t make you feel positive then I don’t know what would…!

All you have to do to try and win the prize, is to pop over to the Mary Wangerin Etsy Shop, take a look around, and come back to comment – tell me what item you love the most!

This giveaway will close at 10.59pm BST on Monday 13th May. The winner will be announced on Thursday 16th May. The giveaway is open internationally. Please make sure you tell me how to contact you if you win!

Don’t forget that commenting on this post, and any other over this weekend, will count as an entry into the Grand Giveaway {NOW CLOSED}, but only if you’ve registered your interest in winning that prize right HERE!

  1. Ok so I am now sitting here eating soup, have a huge mug of coffee by my side and working from here backwards (having missed so many of the past posts) I am already to do my first layout having been inspired by the first couple of posts……I think I may just have to play all day :0) Right, so I have had a look in Mary’s shop and without stating the obvious (I LOVE it all!!) my favourite would have to be the ‘you should be kissed’ canvas (note, the canvas not the print…if you are going to fall in love with something…do it in style!) Fantastic stuff….should I get on with my layout or play with a canvas??? Decisions, decisions! LOL

  2. I LOVE quotes and art journaling so Mary’s art is really up my street! I love it all but especially WITHIN US. Beautiful.

  3. Mary’s work is beautiful. The Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle really resonates with me at the moment – I seem to have some people around me at the moment that want me to be as unhappy as they are – of course I am digging my heels in and refusing LOL!!

  4. Beautiful pieces of work and very powering quotes. I like the Don’t Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle. I think I need this as a reminder for myself as I do tend to let peoples comments or looks get to me. I have a son with Aspergers and he was only diagnosed a yr ago and so I had a lot of negative comments over my parenting which over 8 yrs knocked my parenting confidence, I am slowly gaining it back but still have some days where I feel so low. x

  5. They are all lovely. If the singing bird didn’t have the bird bit I’d have gone for that one, no probs but I’ve decided to choose the kissing one with the girl in her crown. I adore the picture and I would so love to be kissed, basically by anyone at this moment in time. Male of course, no judgements there, but I need a man in my life,
    Jo xxxx

  6. I have always loved all of Mary’s artwork and it is all over my house! I think my favorite is Don’t Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle!!! As you said she is a beautiful young woman inside and out!

  7. I love Mary’s work! Her “Trust in Him” print is one of my very favorites altho I love EVERY single one of her pieces! What a fabulous giveaway! 🙂

  8. My favorite one is the custom one in wall! I could find a special place in my house for every one the are so vibrant and encouraging…who couldn’t use more of that in their life! Great work Mary!

  9. oh! they’re all so beautiful and inspiring – but if I had to choose one it would be either “live Bravely” or “Maybe a Singing Bird Will Come” – I really must check out Etsy more often :o)

  10. Mary’s artwork is amazing, but not near as amazing as Mary the artist is, she is one of the most amazing women on this planet 🙂 I am blessed to have her in my life 🙂 All of her creations just warm my heart 🙂

  11. Some fabulous prints in Mary’s Etsy shop. “Today is a beautiful day” is great as every day should be celebrated. We often think life is getting us down but just the living is beautiful 🙂

  12. This art print is gorgeous and I thank you for the chance to win it.

The Live Bravely print is by far my favourite, but I do like the kissed one as well. Gorgeous artworks and added to my favourites 🙂

  13. I love the plaque painted with the Emmerson quote about what lies within you. Such a great reminder at looking yourself in the mirror.
