Announcing My Online Class – Projects that WOW!

Oooh, it’s time to announce something that I have been bursting to tell you about! After my last post about something I’m struggling to progress with, this hour I want to share a goal that I’ve had for a while and am finally achieving.

I have been working on my first ever online class! Yes – now I make classes too! It starts on the Monday 10th of June 2013, and it’s called Projects that WOW!

‘Projects that WOW!’ is about making your projects stand out from the crowd. What makes you pause and look closer at a scrapbook page when you are flicking through your own albums, or looking at other people’s layouts in magazines? Which cards jump out at you from Pinterest or from envelopes when you open them? What details of paper-crafted home decor or jewellery make you stop and say ‘wow!’? It’s time to learn some of these techniques or styles and put them to use!

Details:

This online class will consist of 15 PDF prompts (lessons) and at least 3 videos, and it will run as a ‘live’ class from Monday the 10^th to Friday 28^th June 2013. Class participants will receive an email with a prompt attached every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for three weeks.

It will feature examples of lots of scrapbook layouts, but also some cards, jewellery and home décor crafts (all involving scrapbook paper/supplies). There will be a forum, and a gallery for class participants to upload to, and there will be some prizes up for grabs for those who join in! Yay, more prizes! All the class material will still be available to participants after the end of class. So it will be okay if you can’t manage it all while it’s ‘live’ – you just might miss out on winning the prizes!

Each prompt will have a ‘theme’ of a particular technique or style, which can be used to make crafty projects that grab your attention. You may have seen these styles before but not been able to define them, or you’ll be learning new ways to use them!

Each prompt also has a layout by a guest artist – a different guest for each prompt! The guest artists are from all around the world, and have all got stunning pages that really stand out, I can’t wait to show you their work as well as my own! There will be two of my own layouts, two of my own cards, and another item (eg jewellery or home decor) on each prompt, as well as the guest layout. Some will have step-by-step tutorials, some will be super inspiring!

In total it’s going to be over 90 pages of ideas. The normal class price will be £10, but if you purchase the class between now and Monday 13th May at 10.59pm, you can get it at the special offer price of £8 {special offer now finished – class price is now £10}!
