I discovered photos of this layout hiding on my computer the other day, and I couldn’t remember why I hadn’t shown it on here. I was racking my brains – did I make it to submit to a magazine? Did I make it for my online class and then forget about it? In the end I found a photo of it on my Instagram feed, and I realised I made it for a National Scrapbook Day challenge at Scrapbook.com. I’d uploaded it there but not ever shown it here!
Pancakes for Mother’s Day:
It was for a challenge to use negative shapes, so I took it as an opportunity to use up some little bits of the Glitz Uncharted Waters 6×6 Pad which I’d been holding onto because I loved them so much. I put them behind punched holes that I made in light yellow cardstock, using a Martha Stewart Punch All Over The Page Pinked Circle Punch:
I’d also been holding on to this ‘memories’ banner flag which is cut from one of the Uncharted Waters ‘Bit’s and Pieces’, I like how it adds a gentle celebration feeling to the page:
I have very little left of my Glitz products from the last release, so it’s a good thing their new collections will start coming out in a few weeks!
