Birthday Bunting Card (Use What You Have Challenge Entry)

Hello! It’s been a while since I’ve played along with a fun challenge, and as I would love to win a stamp set from the Sweet Stamp Shop I decided to play along with their ‘Use What You Have Challenge’. It’s easy to enter – you just need to pull together some supplies and turn them into something pretty!

I came up with this card:

I wanted to use up some of this unloved stash:

Unloved Stash

This box holding lots of scraps of card and paper sits in my cupboard, and I don’t think I’ve looked in it for at least a year. Why do I keep all these scraps if I don’t ever use them?! This bunting stamp set has also only been used a couple of times in as many years. Time to put them to use!

I stamped the triangles of bunting onto a variety of scraps, using the large and small bunting with scalloped edges and black ink. Then I cut them out:

When I stuck them on my card I attached most of them with my roller adhesive along the top edge, and a 3D foam dot at the bottom point, so they looked like they were fluttering in the breeze:

I always need more birthday cards and this one was fun to make!

If you’d like to use more of what you have, why not try the Sweet Stamp Shop Challenge?

Be aware if you live outside the USA and you win, you have to pay the shipping for your prize – I think it’s worth it though!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Jennifer x
