(This post is part of my Refresh Your Craft & Soul Blog Event – see the beginning HERE!)
Here’s the final challenge {NOW CLOSED} for this event! This time it’s a sketch challenge, and the winner will receive this prize:
An Epiphany Crafts Flower Tool and Bubble Caps!
I love using sketches to give me a fresh look at how to design a page. Regular readers will know I’m on the Sketch Team for Scrap365 and I love making my page each month, and seeing how many different ways a sketch can be interpreted!
This sketch is based on a layout below, which I made about our move to a new house, which has a garden so we can finally grow some things. So if you need an extra prompt you could also make the layout about something new you’ve done recently, or use lots of flowers on your project!
Here’s the sketch:
And here’s my page for your inspiration…
New House For Spring:
The photos on here all have overlays or effects applied to them, I used both the Rhonna Designs App and Instagram to apply these:
I love these little houses from the Crate Paper Close Knit collection:
Spring was the perfect time to move to a new house!
Be Inspired:
Use the sketch for a layout, card, or other crafty project
Line up some little houses
Journal on a big speech bubble

Your LO really screams springtime. Love the little house. I think I will give your sketch a go as I rarely work from sketches but know they do work.

I’ll definitely try to use this one. I really like that there are 3 photos on it- usually my minimum # on a page.

Ooh, now this sketch is calling to me …. I always struggle with 1 large photo and 2 small ones so this is ideal. I’ve a list of crafty projects for this week ahead now!

Well, it took a while longer than I had planned, but I did use this sketch for inspiration on a layout recently! Thanks for sharing! (http://melissagross.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-play-list.html)
