A Challenge To Be Inspired – The Focus Your Craft & Soul Linky Party {NOW CLOSED}

(This post is part of my Focus Your Craft & Soul Blog Event – see the list of all the posts HERE!)

It’s time for the Challenge to Be Inspired!

The Challenge To Be Inspired Focus Your Craft & Soul Linky Party at Jennifer Grace Creates

This is the ONLY place to link up your projects this weekend. It’s the only ‘challenge’ post with a linky tool at the bottom.

That’s because, as usual, there’s going to be all kinds of inspiration this weekend, with layouts, cards, home decor, gifts, and more, and the bottom of each post (except this one and the giveaways sponsored by Etsy Shops) there is a ‘Be Inspired’ section with suggestions of what you can take from that post to apply to your own crafting. You can think of them all as your challenges and head back here to link your projects up!

You can link up ANYTHING you make or do that’s inspired by this event, and to tempt you to enter here’s one of the prizes up for grabs:

The Challenge To Be Inspired Prize for the Focus Your Craft & Soul event at Jennifer Grace Creates

It’s got lots of the My Minds’ Eye Cut & Paste ‘Flair’ collection (including enamel shapes, chipboard, stickers, and paper), a Lawn Fawn ‘Flirty Frames’ stamp set, plus a few frames and arrows!

The above prize will be sent to one person drawn at random from all the entries.

I’m also going to give a £15 Etsy Gift Card to someone that catches my eye with a really exciting project or with the enthusiasm of their participation!

There's a £15 Etsy Gift Card for one 'Be Inspired' challenge participant too!

The gift card (email code) the winner receives can be spent in any Etsy shop which accepts gift cards.

When you are crafting you can take the ‘Be Inspired’ section from the bottom of one post and use that as your ‘challenge’. Or you can pick a choose items from the ‘Be Inspired’ section of a few posts – there will always be one line that can apply to a variety of crafts so no matter what kind of crafting is your favourite, there will always be an idea you can take away.

Or you can ignore the ‘be inspired’ sections entirely, and instead just scraplift a layout, take a colour scheme that I’ve used, copy a technique, just try to emulate my style on something… really the possibilities are endless for how you can be inspired, just go and play with your crafty supplies!

To enter the challenge {NOW CLOSED}:

Post your project on your blog / online gallery, mentioning the Focus Your Craft & Soul Event in your description, and then come back here to add it! Make sure you add the URL of the actual project, not just a general gallery or blog link. You can add more than one project to a blog post and then add it to the linky several times to give you extra entries into the draw. You can enter AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WISH! You are welcome to combine with other online challenges too. If it’s not obvious where you used inspiration from my event on your project then make sure you describe it somewhere in your image description or blog post!

I will be pinning all the entries to the ‘Inspired By Jennifer Grace Creates’ Pinterest Board, and I will also come and leave a comment on any entries which I can (I can’t sign up to every online gallery, so I may not be able to comment on all. I have accounts with Flickr,, UKS, Big Picture Classes, and Studio Calico, so if your projects are on there I will be able to comment).

The challenge linky closes at 10pm BST on Sunday the 24th of May 2015 {NOW CLOSED}. It is open internationally. If you have any questions about this or anything else, you can email me at

I can’t wait to see all your projects!

I’ll see you again at 6pm… for the blog hop!

  6. Oh my goodness Janis!!! This IS a lovely surprise to see your comment!!! To be honest, I have not scrapped very much since the beginning of the year – so many big changes and events going on – and my mojo took a massive hike! I’ve enjoyed Jennifer’s blog events before and I had a feeling it would bring me back….. so, now empty nesting – I put a whole week away to get back into it and just enjoy – for that reason alone. And I have. So once this room has been put back tidy…I feel a bit ‘renewed’. Thanks again to you …. Jennifer and the bloghop DT… wonderful!

  7. Hooray… glad you saw my comment!!! I will get a little something in the mail to you this week. I’ve never sent anything to Australia before, so I will have to ask my postmaster how I do that! lol…. Thanks for your email!!!
