That’s it!

If you’ve enjoyed the event, please support me in any way you can. This could be you following my news emails (aweber form in sidebar), following on bloglovin or your chosen reader, by telling other people about the event, or by pinning or sharing the projects you like. I wish you all a merry, craft-filled holiday season!

A Giveaway! Sponsored By Feed Your Craft! {NOW CLOSED}

(This post is part of my Frosty Festivities 2014 Blog Event – see the beginning HERE!)

Hey it’s time for another awesome giveaway! {NOW CLOSED} This one is sponsored by Feed Your Craft, an Etsy shop filled with amazing embellishments!

Feed Your Craft Etsy Shop

The awesome lady behind Feed Your Craft is Elise (aka Lil Gik). We met through the Two Peas forum a while back, and her well balanced projects on her blog caught my eye. When she opened up an Etsy shop I knew it would be filled with well designed usable items, and I was right! The shop speciality is flair, but there’s a few kits and bits too. Read on to enter to win a $15 coupon code!

Here’s some of the items in the shop that I’ve noticed lately, because they’d work great on winter or Christmas projects…

1. Tis The Season Mini Flair Badges – There are lots and lots of fabulous flair sets in the Feed Your Craft store, but these ones obviously caught my eye for their festive appeal! I love the bold phrases, especially the ‘Merry & Bright’ one, isn’t that font just perfect:

Tis The Season Mini Flair Badges at the Feed Your Craft Etsy Shop

2. 10 Gold Foil Doilies – My gold obsession just keeps growing and growing. How shiny and stunning are these? I may use them on papercraft projects, or I may just spread them over every available surface of my house during Christmas time:

3. Cool Color Embellishment Pack – This is a great set which could be used for wintry projects, thanks to the cool colours, but it would work well for other projects too. I love a multi-use kit as I know I will use it all up eventually:

Now for the giveaway! One lucky commenter will win this:

Feed Your Craft Giveaway Prize for the Frosty Festivities Event

A $15 coupon code for the Feed Your Craft store! The winner must have a merchandise total of more than $16.50, this is because of Etsy terms for coupon codes.

To enter to win this prize you just need to visit the Feed Your Craft Etsy Shop, take a look around, and come back here to leave a comment telling me what caught your eye in the store! It doesn’t have to be Winter / Christmas related. Just find something you love and tell me about it!

You could also pop by Elise’s blog and thank her for sponsoring, and maybe give her a follow if you like her blog! This isn’t compulsory though!

The giveaway closes at 8pm GMT on Monday the 10th of November 2014. {NOW CLOSED} The winner will be announced on Thursday the 13th of November. It is open internationally!

Good luck! I’ll see you again at 3pm!

Frosty Festivities 2014 Announcement and Giveaway!

Today I’m here to share news about my next big (and totally free) blog event, Frosty Festivities 2014!

Mark your calendars for November the 7th – 9th, and read on for a chance to win a jolly holiday themed Smash Book!

Frosty Festivities 2014 Free Blog Event at Jennifer Grace Creates

Whoop! I love this time of year, when I’m elbow deep in crafty projects to prepare for my next event!

If you’re new to my Frosty Festivities event you should be prepared for lots of Winter and Christmas crafty inspiration (including scrapbook layouts, cards, gifts, decor, and more), plus giveaways and challenge prompts (lots of prizes), with posts going live every hour!

For regular event attendees you should know this time a few things will be changing…

THINGS THAT ARE DIFFERENT FOR THIS EVENT:

The Grand Giveaway will now be The Challenge Prize – there will be just one Challenge post to link up to, you’ll be able to use any of the ‘be inspired’ ideas for your projects, and enter as many times as you like! One challenge winner  drawn at random will get the Grand Prize, and there will be another prize from me for a project that catches my eye. I’m hoping you’ll all join in lots! The challenge linky will stay open until Monday the 17th of November.

There will be no Blog Hop. While I love the blog hops they take a long time for me to arrange and I didn’t have the time right now. Instead I’ve asked three fabulous friends to be GUEST DESIGNERS with a blog post each during the weekend, so you will have some inspiration from someone other than me. They’ll be using some Happy Scatter items so I can’t wait to see their finished projects!

The times are going to change slightly so I can go to bed a bit earlier! Posts will now go live from 4pm-8pm Friday, and 10am-8pm Saturday and Sunday.

THERE WILL STILL BE:

Lots of comment-to-win giveaways from me and sponsors, tons of inspiration for a variety of crafty projects, and a host of ‘be inspired’ prompts!

Let’s kick things off with a giveaway right now! Want a chance to win this:

Smash-Book-Folio-Holiday-limited-Edition

A limited-edition holiday-themed Smash Book, perfect for a December Daily or JYC project, or just to record those memories after Christmas is finished!

Please note: To enter this giveaway you must click on the Rafflecopter Widget below. Just leaving a blog comment (telling me whether you make handmade gifts to give as Christmas presents) won’t enter you – you need to then click on rafflecopter to say you’ve commented. Then you can also complete other options, like sharing this post on Facebook or Pinterest, for more entries! Of course you can also comment and share without entering the giveaway if you wish.

One winner will be chosen at random from all entries. The giveaway closes on Thursday the 6th of November at 12am GMT. The winner will be announced here later that day.

Thanks for reading. I hope you’re excited about the next event!

There will also be another ‘guess the project’ contest on the Jennifer Grace Creates Events Chat group in the week leading up to the event, with a prize for the most correct guesses, so make sure you join the group if you want to have even more fun!

Tell me, do you make handmade gifts to give as Christmas presents?

Your Craft & Soul Events

From Old Stash To New Pocket Cards + A Giveaway! {NOW CLOSED}

(This post is part of my Refresh Your Craft & Soul Blog Event – see the beginning HERE!

One of the ways I’ve been trying to cleanse is by sorting out my craft space (more on that tomorrow). While sorting through it all I realised there were some thing I just keep rummaging through and never using, because they didn’t quite work for me. Time to jazz things up a bit! I pulled out some Journal Cards / Pocket Scrapbooking Cards which I didn’t think I’d use as they were:

From Old Stash To New Pocket Cards by Jennifer Grace

A couple of them were just too boring – I never found them inspiring enough to actually pull out and use. A couple of others had writing on which I didn’t like (eg. the ‘Mending 10 Yards’ bit).

Next I gathered some stickers and gems:

And decorated to my heart’s content:

Now they look much more fun and ready to use on a scrapbook page or card!

Want to make some of you own? Why not enter this GIVEAWAY:

Old Stash Giveaway at Jennifer Grace Creates Closes Monay 9th June at 10.59pm BST

I always think another good way to cleanse my supplies is to give some away! Included in this prize is a selection of 6×6 papers, journaling / pocket scrapbooking cards, stickers, chipboards, ribbons, and buttons!

All you have to do to enter this giveaway {NOW CLOSED}  is tell me in the comments whether you’ve got any items of stash that need a revamp! The giveaway closes at 10.59pm on Monday the 9th of June 2014. It is open internationally! The winner will be announced on Thursday the 12th of June, so check back to see if you won!

Be Inspired:

Jazz up some old supplies with a few stickers, gems, or other embellies

Clear out some old stash and give it away

Make a set of journal cards / pocket scrapbook cards

How often do you cleanse your supplies? I probably go through mine once a year… normally when I’m gearing up for an online event like this!

Remember that commenting on this post, and any other over this weekend, will count as another entry into the Grand Giveaway, but only if you’ve registered your interest in winning that prize right HERE!  {NOW CLOSED}

See you again very soon,

Happy Scatter, Your Craft & Soul Events

A Giveaway! From my Etsy Shop Happy Scatter! {NOW CLOSED}

(This post is part of my Refresh Your Craft & Soul Blog Event – see the beginning HERE!)

Eagle-eyed readers will have spotted the mention of my Etsy Shop ‘Happy Scatter’ on the event announcement post, but now I’ll tell you more about it! Read on for a discount code and a giveaway!

Happy Scatter Etsy Shop by Jennifer Grace

I’ve been learning how to use Adobe Illustrator this year, and I soon realised I’d be able to design some fun embellishments and stencils!

I wanted some to match this event, so the first ones I created featured raindrops and ‘life is good’ phrases, this became the ‘How Refreshing’ mini collection. Then I decided I had to make some beach themed items too, because I do love the sea, and I can never get enough seaside themed products! So I made another mini collection called ‘Seaside Smiles’.

Check them both out in this video:

What do you think? I know there’s only a few bits so far, but I have lots of ideas for more if things go well!

If you own a cutting machine that can cut SVG’s then the Die Cut Cards are available as Cut Files too (as well as physical product)!

If you are tempted to buy an item or two, then here’s a discount code, valid until Monday night (9th June)… for 10% off just use the code ‘Refresh2014’ during checkout! There’s no minimum order!

How about a giveaway?

One winner will receive their choice of either the ‘How Refreshing’ or the ‘Seaside Smiles’ mini collection – one of each item (Stencil, Die Cut Cards, Wood Veneers, Cut File).

Which collection would you choose?

Happy Scatter Etsy Shop Items

All you have to do to enter this giveaway  {NOW CLOSED} is tell me what else you’d like to see in the Happy Scatter shop? What kind of embellishments can you not get enough of?

If the winner has already purchased some items from the shop then I will either refund them (up to the value of one collection) or they can wait to see what the next collection will be and receive that instead!

This giveaway will close on Monday the 9th of June at 10.59pm BST. It’s is open internationally. The winner will be announced on Thursday the 12th of June, so make sure you check back to see if you’ve won!

Remember that commenting on this post, and any other over this weekend, will count as another entry into the Grand Giveaway, but only if you’ve registered your interest in winning that prize right HERE!  {NOW CLOSED}

I’ll see you again at 9pm!

Giftwrapping, Your Craft & Soul Events

The Refresh Your Craft & Soul Welcome & Grand Giveaway!

Hello and welcome to the start of my FREE blog event! It’s time to Refresh Your Craft & Soul!

Refresh Your Craft & Soul Online Event at Jennifer Grace Creates

If you haven’t heard about this event before, then here are the details: This weekend (6th – 8th June 2014) from 4pm – 10pm Friday and 10am – 10pm Saturday and Sunday (BST) there will be posts going live EVERY HOUR! There will be lots of crafts, tutorials, challenges, tips, a blog hop, and of course some lovely giveaways  {Giveaways NOW CLOSED – challenges still open}!

The theme for the event is loosely based on my word for the year ‘Cleanse’. However, ‘Refresh Your Craft & Soul’ will expand to include a variety of ideas, including water themes (rain, sea, rivers, drinks, watercolour paints, water activities), fresh air and outdoors, trying new things, simplifying clutter, clean and simple projects, being healthy, letting go of worries, etc!

The giveaways will close on Monday the 9th of June at 10.59pm BST, but the challenges will have prizes too, and those will stay open for entries until the following Sunday (15th June) so there’s time to play along with those even if you’re not about for the actual event!

Let’s kick things off with The Grand Giveaway {NOW CLOSED} :

Refresh Your Craft and Soul Giveaway at Jennifer Grace Creates

One lucky person will receive this prize package which includes:

6 Sheets of Pink Paislee Hello Sunshine Paper

Hello Sunshine Puffy Stickers, Label Stickers, and half a pack of Pocket Cards

6 Sheets of Elle’s Studio Everyday Moments Paper

Everyday Moments Bits & Pieces

My Mind’s Eye Just Splendid 6×6 Pad, 8×10 Word Art Pack, Wood Dots, and a sampler of the Decorative Tape

Plus a few sequins for a bit of shimmer!

So how do you get the chance to win these goodies? By commenting! You could just leave a comment on this post – that will give you one entry into the draw. But every comment on any post that goes live this weekend will count as another entry into the draw!

You will only be entered into the Grand Giveaway if you have commented on this welcome post. That way if you don’t want to win the prize – maybe you already own all these goodies (?!) – then don’t comment here, but you can still comment on all the other posts this weekend (including all the other giveaways) without being entered.

To tempt you to enter, and show you what can be done with some of the items in the prize pack, here’s a tag I made using the same supplies:

Big Smiles Tag by Jennifer Grace

I layered up a Hello Sunshine Pocket Card and puffy stickers, with a couple of tags from the Everyday Moments Bits & Pieces, and some Just Splendid Decorative Tape. Plus a few gems of course!

You could leave it just like this to use on a scrapbook page or pocket album, but if you are going to put it on a gift to brighten someone’s day you can punch a hole in one corner and add some twine:

Big Smiles Tag by Jennifer Grace

I added one lot of twine to attach it to the gift, then tied a twine bow on top too!

Be Inspired:

Use a pocket card as the base for a tag

Combine two happy phrases to brighten someone’s day

Finish off with a twine bow

Don’t forget to comment here to be entered into the Grand Giveaway  {NOW CLOSED}! The giveaway is open internationally, and it will close at 10.59pm (BST) on Monday the 9th of June.

I see you again at 5pm! Are you excited that the event has started?!

Jennifer x

P.S. Remember there were some free ‘Refresh’ files to download in my previous post HERE if you want them!
