(This post is part of my Onwards and Upwards Blog Event)
So, one of my Daughter’s dreams is to be a fairy. I wish I could make this dream come true for her, but for now she’ll have to settle for a pretty, starry wand to make her own magic:
She was very happy with it:
(Photo effect applied in Picmonkey)
It was really simple to make the wand:
Step 1: Find a wooden heart on a stick:
Step 2: Paint the heart with white acrylic paint:
Step 3: Decorate it! Everything on the heart is from my Onwards and Upwards Counterfeit Kit. The flower was coloured with Mister Huey Pretty Pink Mist, and I glued everything on using a hot glue gun:
My daughter loves it so much she’s trying to convince my husband he needs one too!
Be Inspired:
Make a magic wand
Find or make a large shape and fill it with an assortment of embellishments
Add some dangly ribbons to a project
What do you think? Do you need a bit more magic in your life?
Finally, don’t forget that commenting on this post, and any other over this weekend, will count as an entry into the Grand Giveaway, but only if you’ve registered your interest in winning that prize right HERE.
I’ll be back again about an hour! x

Now all she needs is glittery fairy dust. Wouldn’t that be fun to have all over your house. lol I’m sure she’s very proud of it.

Very cute! I’m sure your daughter loves it! I’d love to make one but with a son.. not so much. One day maybe I’ll glitz up the hilt of a sword for him. 🙂
